Welcome to FloraVilla boutique, in a cozy family environment in the center of the sought-after spa town Rajecké Teplice, right by the spa lake, in a place offering a unique atmosphere.

In combination with the unique family approach of the staff, we offer “boutique” services not only for families with children. FloraVilla boutique offers accommodation in 7 apartments of different sizes from 23 m2 to 58 m2.

Both the FloraVilla and Zihuatanejo café logos, as well as the means of expression of the interior and exterior, including the materials used, combine elements of Mexican architecture as a reference to our story materialized in the name Zihuatanejo café in combination with the floral aspect, manifested in the names of the apartments and also in the tiles, railings and other accessories, accentuating the name FloraVilla.

History and present

The FloraVilla building was built in 1935 as a spa villa – a family home. Later, it performed the function of services, there was a tailor’s workshop and a glass factory. In 1979, it became part of the spa and was subsequently renovated and completed as an accommodation facility – a hotel, completed in 1996.

After a change of owner in 2017, the building underwent a complete renovation in 2021-2023. While retaining the original name, FloraVilla received one extra floor on part of the building and a new look inspired by Mexican architecture with the preservation of the original “genius loci”, especially in the street view from the pond.

At the same time, FloraVilla received a new function and, in addition to boutique accommodation in exclusive apartments, it also offers a stylish and cozy Zihuatanejo café.

Services and technologies

Today’s FloraVilla offers services that meet the high standards and requirements of demanding clients. The apartments are the only ones in Rajecké Teplice that are cooled without air conditioning, which guarantees a pleasant climate even on hot summer days without the flow of cold air. Not only the living rooms, but also all the bathrooms have windows for greater comfort and better lighting of the interior space. The services include a top location right next to a lake next to a forest within walking distance of SPA Aphrodite in a peaceful and quiet environment, barrier-free parking right next to the building, a cafe with a fireplace and a terrace on the ground floor, up to the most modern technological equipment, including an elevator.

The building has a class A energy certificate, it is heated and cooled by heat pumps in combination with controlled ventilation by air-conditioning with recuperation. It has a partial green roof to preserve biodiversity and photovoltaic panels to generate electricity. Rainwater and waste water from the showers are captured as “grey water” in the retention tank, where the heat pump exchangers are located, and the energy obtained from it is returned in the form of heating, or cooling and heating DHW. At the same time, we use gray water to flush toilets and in this way also contribute to saving drinking water and protecting the environment. We use a central vacuum cleaner for less swirling dust and noise during cleaning.
